Cut Amethyst
how much should I charge for an unflawed natural cut amethyst that weighs 11.3 grams and it 1 inch long?
I have got into rock tumbling and I bought a bunch of natural stones in bulk and this was hiding in there. 
by unflawed I mean there are no cracks or mars inside the stone its self
11.3 = 56.5 carats which is good size. You have to make sure on the clarity and have even coloring to get a good price. If the stone is truely internally flawless (IF) instead of VS (slight inclusions or flaw seen with a 10x loupe), you might get $4-$5/carat. I would have it appraised by a certified gemologist which costs about $40 to $60. For a stone that might be worth $250 - $300, it is worth getting it appraised.
